About Independent Control Services Ltd
Our Mission
At Independent Control Services Ltd, our mission is to provide affordable and reliable HVAC services to our customers. We strive to exceed expectations by delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Established in 1985, ICS has grown with Red Deer and surrounding communities in Central Alberta to become the leader in HVAC service, maintenance and controls. Our success is our commitment to our customers to maintain their equipment properly, solve any issues associated to the HVAC operation of their building and keeping our customers informed.
Our Team
Our team consists of certified HVAC technicians who are knowledgeable and experienced in the industry. We are committed to ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques.
We knows that to supply great service we need great people. We strive to achieve this by educating our people through the Alberta Apprenticeship programs in several trades such as Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical, Gas Fitting, Plumbing and Sheet Metal. Several of our technicians have completed more than one trade certification in an effort to serve our customers better.
We also endeavor to have our technicians attend manufacturers training courses and in house training session when they become available.
Services
We offer a wide range of HVAC services including air conditioning and heating repair, installation, maintenance and a controls division.
Unlike other companies in our industry, our managers answer telephone calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to service our customers better and quicker. There is no answering services to deal with and no waiting for service people to call back.
We give top priority to our maintenance agreements because we believe that by completing every inspection in a timely manner we keep your equipment operating at its peak efficiency and will allow the equipment to reach and even exceed its life expectancy.
Safety
At Independent Control Services, we are committed to safety. We are COR Certified as well as affiliated with numerous safety programs. These programs consist of ISNetworld, Avetta, Contractor Check and Comply Works. Our employees are up to date on all safety training and courses required to do their job on a day to day basis. Our management team is also required to take courses such as Leadership for Safety Excellence and Principles of Health & Safety Management.
